Tasty Tuesday: Bangin’ Mexican Dip

For Tasty Tuesday we are making a banging Mexican dip that pretty much requires one of everything and its perfect for social gatherings. I usually make it for the superbowl or when my friends request it for their parties. I was introduced to this dip by my cousin and my family loves it. I’ve been making it for about 5 years now and truthfully I don’t know the real name. Check out the ingredients below.

The Ingredients

  1.  1 Sweet Onion
  2. Red Pepper
  3. 1 Green Pepper
  4. 1 large tomato
  5. Tostitos Medium Salsa Dip
  6. Cool Ranch or Original Doritos
  7. 1 Large Sour cream
  8. 1 oz of Philadelpia cream cheese
  9. 1 bag of shredded Sharp Cheddar cheese
  10. Black Olives if you like (I skip this step)


Slay Steps:

Leave the cream cheese out and cut it in small cubes

Dice the onion, peppers, tomatoes, but keep them separate ( I let hubby do this)

Be prepared to get messy cause you will need to use your hands to layer.

Add a layer of onions, peppers, tomatoes, then add cream cheese, add about 4 spoons of sour cream, and 4-5 tablespoons of the salsa, try to make it as even as possible, sprinkle the cheese and then repeat til you get to the top.

Be sure to keep this dip refrigerated until ready. Also, if you have extras refrigerate right away cause this dip gets runny but usually its the life of the party and it doesn’t make it to the leftover list. LOL enjoy.
